Hey! I'm Nina, a Berlin based photographer.
Background
After studying photography, I worked as a photo editor and art buyer for over 10 years. Since 2021, I have been shooting by myself again. I was born in the GDR (former East Germany) and studied in England. My centre of life is in Berlin. But my longing for variety keeps drawing me back to places like Paris and London.
How
With my photography I focus on moments of everyday life, observing people and places with sensitivity to tell charming, emotional and sometimes amusing stories.

With portrait photography, I want to support & strengthen women in particular. My intention is that we consolidate self-confidence together by creating a space that allows them to be fully with themselves and show themselves as they really are. Against external expectations.

With my travel photography, I try to capture the mood of the places from my perspective. Travelling to other cities and countries makes me blossom and is profitable on many levels. Not only because of the different impressions, but also because new places help me to rediscover the familiar places with different views.

Process
It's very important to me that everyone feels as comfortable as possible. That's why there is an off-camera meeting before every shooting. Depending on the distance, either on location or via video call. I want to get to know you as a family (or person) and discuss with you what your wishes are. I also want you to get to know me so you can find out who is actually photographing you.
On the day of the shoot itself, we first kind of arrive with each other, e.g. with a cup of tea or coffee. After that, it's time to go: depending on what we've discussed and decided beforehand, I'll accompany you naturally with the camera, or we'll set up for a portrait shoot.
Afterwards I will make a first selection of pictures, send them to you for you to choose your favourite photos (quantity depending on package) and then edit them. You will then receive the final images in high resolution, digitally for download. If you wish, you can also book pictures as a print package.
